BEAR DOG PARK
“Baron Von Der Kristin”
Bear Dog Park is located on 1575
Pleasant Grove Boulevard, within Mahany Park. The dog park is
on the north side of the park next to the base ball fields. 
This park includes two separate areas to
exercise dogs off-leash, one for large dogs and one for small dogs.
The park has the following
special amenities:walking pathway around
poop bag dispensers
obstacle areas
wading pool areas
doggie shower areas
The park is closed for maintenance each Tuesday from 6 am - 10 am
Dogs using the park must be licensed
and current on all vaccinations. Dogs who are ill or are in heat are
not allowed.
Please keep your leash with you at all times. Dogs showing any type
of aggression must be put on a leash, and or removed from the park.
B I O G R A P H Y
The park is named after Bear “Baron Von Der Kristin” who was the
Roseville Police Department’s first K-9. Bear received numerous
commendations for his professionalism and heroism throughout his
career, which led the way for the K-9 program to expand to four
dogs. Bear dedicated six years of his life to serving the citizens
of Roseville, longer than any other K-9 in Roseville.
