Dogs are not allowed in any City of Roseville Park with
the
exception of designated Dog Parks, Dog Run and the greenbelt
areas on the outskirts of some parks (on leash).
If you should see a dog in any Roseville City Park, their owners are
probably unaware of the law. Please inform them, and then spread the
news about Roseville Dog Parks! If you should ever see anyone not
picking up after their dog, please give them a gentle reminder, or offer
them a bag. The more people don't pick up after their dog, the harder the
fight to make Roseville a more dog friendly town.
In order to make Roseville more dog
friendly, RDOG formed the
Dog Park Task Force. This special RDOG group meets as new
parks come up. We discuss what we would like to see in a new
dog park. We work with the City and the Roseville Parks &
Recreation Commission, attending city meetings during the
design process. When necessary, we attend the Commission
meetings. They usually meet on the 1st Monday of each month
at 7:00 PM at 311 Vernon Street in Roseville.
We need to be seen and our voices heard. How can you
help?
By joining the Dog Park Task Force!
