Speakers' Lectures

Dr. Leslie Phillips spoke on Acupuncture. What it is, the procedures, and how it works.

Dr. Lara Fairchild from the Rocklin Road Animal Hospital spoke on canine behavior, and veterinary care issues such as dental care, obesity, and proper vaccination. Here is her Top Dog Series.

Tiffany Stutzke spoke on Reliable Recalls
(Coming When Called). She covered the importance of recalls, and fun ways to teach reliable recalls. Find out what motivates your dog to complete a correct behavior. Whether it be a tennis ball, treats, clicker, squeak toy, etc. It can also be a simple "Good Dog" or a nice scratching. Try to find up to five different ways for the degree of importance of the recall. Be consistent and always keep training.
