   Dog Park USA is committed to the promotion of happy and health canine friends
   by advancing the awareness of responsibly maintained public dog play areas. The

Search and Rescue Organizations  

   California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA) furnishes highly trained volunteer   
   search dog teams for search and rescue; trains and promotes working dogs for
   search missions; supports and organizes tests for search dogs; and furthers
   the public knowledge, interest and use of search and rescue trained dogs
   National Disaster Search Dog Foundation is a non-profit volunteer service that  
   trains dogs for rescue teams.
  
United Animal Nations This Sacramento based group is dedicated to protecting 
   animals in danger or in need and focusing global attention on their plight. 
   Wilderness Finders, Inc. (WOOF) is on-call to the entire U.S., with most calls   
   coming from California and Nevada. WOOF is a non-profit volunteer service unit  
   whose primary objective is using trained dog teams to find people in trouble and
   give medical aid.
